REFURBISHMENT / UPGRADATION OF “GRIT BLASTING & PAINTING FACILITY” AT PAINT SHOP

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) invites sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors/firms for the refurbishment and upgradation of its existing “Grit Blasting & Painting Facility” at the Paint Shop. The bidding will follow the “Single Stage – Two Envelope” procedure in accordance with PPRA Rules 2004.

1. Bid Submission Deadline:

• Date: 17 June 2025
• Time: 1000 Hours (Pakistan Standard Time)
• Address: Office of the General Manager (Yard Engineering), KS&EW, West Wharf, Dockyard Road, Karachi-74000.

1. Bid Opening:

• Date: 17 June 2025
• Time: 1030 Hours (Pakistan Standard Time)
• Bidders/representatives may attend the opening.

1. Bid Security Requirement:

• Amount: PKR 3,500,000/- (Three Million Five Hundred Thousand)
• Form: Pay Order from a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan, valid for 28 days beyond bid validity.
• Bids without valid security will be rejected.

1. Bidding Documents:

• Cost: PKR 5,000/- (Non-refundable) via Pay Order/Cheque/Cash in favor of Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works.
• Availability:
  • Collect from the office of GM (Yard Engineering) during working hours (0900–1600 hrs).
  • Download from PPRA’s website (www.ppra.org.pk).
• Note: Downloaded documents require payment confirmation before bid submission.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• KS&EW reserves the right to accept/reject any or all bids under PPRA Rule 33 (2004).
• Late submissions will not be entertained.
• All bids must comply with technical and financial specifications outlined in the bidding documents.
